Badminton

Badminton is a sport that can be played by a single player or doubles. Badminton carried out in a field and separated by a net. Badminton scoring system in which players can get scores when hits to the area opponents over the net and the opponent can’t return the shuttlecock. Badminton also an referee that controlling of scoring system in a game of badminton. The referee can give a yellow card if there is a player who commits an offense during a match.

Shuttlecock is a ball used in playing badminton. Shuttlecock have conical open formed and formed from 16 goose feather, fueled cork round. This cork is covered by thin skin or other synthetic materials like plastic.
The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is an international organization for the sport of badminton. BWF was founded in 1934 as the International Badminton Federation with 9 members include Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland, and Wales, but now the number of members increased to 165 associations from around the world.

The BWF organizes several international competitions, such as the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup. The Thomas Cup is the men's international team event and first held in 1948–1949, and the Uber Cup is the women's international team event and  first held in 1956–1957. The competitions now take place once every two years.

Recount Text



Climbing Andong Mountain 1726 Masl

Last Friday I and my classmate had to go to Andong Mountain

On this holiday we tried to climbed Andong Mountain together, it location in Magelang. Before we going to the mountain, firstly we met in Anifs’ boarding house and checked the logistics. We had to checked it because important thing when we wanted to climbing mountain.

After checking all, we went to the mountain together. We start at 5 p.m from Semarang and arrived Magelang at 8 p.m. Then we got a rested in basecamp of Andong Mountan. Next, we start to climbed at 10 p.m and arrived in Andong Peak at 12.30 a.m. Finally, at Saturday morning we got a beautiful sunrise, it was very amazing. We were cold, but we enjoyed it and it was a great adventured of my class, English Education of UNIMUS 2013.

                Mario Teguh is one of the successful carrier man in Indonesia. Mario Teguh is a motivational speaker and consultant. He born in Makasar, Maret 5th 1956. He hold a Bachelor of Education from IKIP Malang. Besides that, he is a motivator also he had worked as CEO (Chief Executive Office) and Senior Consultant, and he had television show in Metro TV “Mario Teguh Golden Ways” from 2006-until now.

Review Novel "The Little Prince" - Antoine de Saint-Exupery



Title : The Little Prince
Author : Antoine de Saint-Exupery

This story came from someone who had grown up. When he was 6 years old he drew something was calculated by adults is a cap, but that's not what he meant. He drew a 'Boa Constrictor' (a boa constrictor eating an elephant).
Now he grew up and now he was a pilot. Once when he was stranded in the desert alone because his plane was broken and he had to fix her because he was alone, he had to work hard to fix his plane alone. One night, he suddenly surprised by a small child. The little boy was talking to him, "Draw me a sheep!". He was surprised and confused as to why there are small children in the desert.
Finally he tried to describe the little boy things. He drew something was calculated cap when he was a child. The little boy was immediately protested, "I do not want a picture Boa snake, the animal is dangerous". "I want a picture of a sheep". The beginning of that events, the author tries to explain something or life perspective from the viewpoint of children with grown-up point of view. In this novel explains that grown-up too hasty to judge anything, grown-up is looking at all only of possessions, money, power, and praise.
